Ready for an adventure? From the San Juan airport, catch a transfer to the incredible treehouse hotel, Yuguiyu Treehouses at Yuquiyu Farm, deep in the island’s El Yunque rainforest. The treehouses provide shelter from the sun, rain and wind in artisan-crafted treehouses with hot and cold running water, electricity, a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchenette and a luxurious bath.

The treehouses are inspired by the small wooden houses common in Puerto Rico over a century ago. Built on the side of a canyon, these humble dwellings float on pillars among the trees in one of the most scenic parts of the property — an outcropping of massive boulders. Above are the three terraces of our organic farm, below is a cascading river and beyond is the rainforest.

We’ll get to know each other over a plant-based dinner directly from the property’s working farm at the hotel and get restful sleep surrounded by nature as we prepare for the adventures to come over the next few days.

Amidst the lush greenery and tropical ambiance, begin your morning by hiking the La Mina Trail, leading you to the mesmerizing La Mina Falls. Refresh yourself with a dip in the cool, crystal-clear waters, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest. As the day unfolds, venture deeper into El Yunque, exploring additional trails like the Big Tree Trail or ascending to the Yokahu Observation Tower for panoramic views of the canopy. A picnic amidst the verdant landscape provides a tranquil interlude before you wrap up your day, leaving the rainforest with a profound appreciation for Puerto Rico's natural wonders. Return to your treehouse, invigorated by the day's exploration and ready for another delicious farm-to-table dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 promises an adrenaline-packed experience as you venture to Toro Verde Adventure Park in Orocovis. Begin your morning with a scenic drive to this outdoor haven, where the thrill awaits in the form of ziplining. Conquer "The Monster," one of the world's longest ziplines, and feel the rush as you soar over the lush mountains and valleys. The park's breathtaking landscapes provide a surreal backdrop to your adventure.

After an exhilarating morning, we’ll refuel at a local eatery, savoring Puerto Rican flavors. The excitement continues in the afternoon with a trip to Lago Dos Bocas, offering the perfect setting for bioluminescent kayaking, which peaks around this time of year. Paddle through the serene waters, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the lake and the verdant hills.

Embark on the final day of your Puerto Rico escapade with a journey to the idyllic Culebra Island. Catch an early morning ferry and let the azure waters lead you to the pristine shores of Flamenco Beach, hailed as one of the world's most breathtaking beaches. Spend your morning soaking up the sun's warmth on the soft sands or take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters.

As the day unfolds, delve into the underwater wonders of Carlos Rosario Beach through a captivating snorkeling experience, discovering vibrant coral reefs and marine life beneath the surface. Pause for a beachside lunch at one of the local kiosks, savoring the flavors of the island.

We’ll return to our treehouses for a rest and refresh, then gather for our final night’s dinner to reflect on our time in Puerto Rico and gear up to return to our families feeling our best.
